At the base of the Blue Mountains and Appalachian Trail nestled in Historic Shartlesville, PA., Berks County, you will find Shartlesville Sheepskin and Leather Shop.
My wife, Kathy, and I have over 40 years experience in the sheepskin and leather business. We guarantee our workmanship and use only quality hides. Some of the items we make include custom-made coats, vests, slippers, hats, mittens, and custom seat covers for cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
We manufacture sheepskin products on the premises in our retail store. When you stop in and visit, you may find Kathy cutting out products or I may be sewing a beautiful warm coat, vest, slippers, seatcovers or maybe a unique special order. Because we make our sheepskin products, you cannot beat our prices! Whether you are big or small, short or tall we can accommodate YOU!
Within one mile of our shop are three campsites with a lot to offer. You can attend Professional rodeos, demolition derby's, or an Indian Pow-Wow just to mention a few of the attractions. You can visit Roadside America where you will find the largest train display in the area, visit antique shops or ride in a horse-drawn carriage. For the outdoor enthusiast, you can visit Cabella's Sporting Goods just down the road on Interstate 78.
When you have had enough shopping, you can stop in one of our many restaurants that specialize in Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking.
